Illumination's beloved Despicable Me character Vector got his own short film which led to a great opportunity for me to get my own design for the poster.
What was supposed to be a 2 month gig ended up being a year and a half sprint working with some of the most talented and hard-working people I've met. Here is a smattering of work across Despicable Me 4, Migration and Super Mario Bros.

We took the attribute that best defines University of Phoenix students and put it on display for the world to see. Phoenix students are fighters and through the circumstances of their life have earned qualifications that go beyond a resume and make them exactly the type of person an employer will want.

In this new campaign we wanted to show that your degree impacts more than just you. The thing that sets our students apart, the determination and grit to survive through life's obstacles, doesn't just change their future but future generations as well.
As an immigrant myself whose family had to move to a new country, learn a new language and work harder just to make a life for themselves, this one hits home.

After setting the tone with our first campaign ‘More Than Brains’, we wanted to showcase some real stories. But instead of just creating talking head videos we decided to do something a bit different and craft spots that paid homage to these fighters.
Gail Marquis is a woman of firsts: she was on the first U.S. women’s basketball team in the Olympics in 1976, the first woman to work on Wall Street and a pioneer for the LGBTQ community. Carlos Ramirez is a true success story, grinding through obstacle after obstacle to become an exemplary role model for his family and community.

I had the wonderful opportunity to work on the opening titles and graphics for season 2 of the BET show Boomerang, based on the 1992 Eddie Murphy film. We took these 8 episodes and gave them not only a visual concept but a modern ownable look and feel that can be carried throughout the show.
Every episode of this season was directed by an incredibly talented black female including co-showrunner Dime Davis and Tiffany Johnson.

We launched a spot that showcased the determination of our students. Now we needed to show what those students are actually capable of. With an ever-changing and modern look at education University of Phoenix becomes that catalyst to help these determined students go from just students to a group of individuals making a difference in the world.

Searched through 80 years of Oscars footage and soundtracks. Couldn't have been happier.
Imagine what's possible.

We were tasked by HP to create a campaign for their premium line of laptops that showcased these very individual features that come with the laptops. We thought we’d have fun with this one and create the world of Emma with the help of the wonderfully visual and colorful sing-sing team.

Hands can do incredible things. For the launch of the HP Sprout we created a video that showcased the most important part of this new product, your hands. Sans keyboard and mouse the Sprout uses your only your hands as an intuitive and easy way to create and reimagine what you can do.

“Wild Wild West: A Beautiful Rant by Mark Bradford”
I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Dime Davis (director) and Elle Lorraine (producer) to produce graphics, titles and one sheet for the annual LACMA: Art + Film Gala, honoring artist Mark Bradford.
“Where do artists come from? An answer explored through paper, percussion, and one provocative artist.”
I'm sorry to disappoint you if original music was what you were looking for.
Every few weeks or so I create Spotify playlists of jams that I send to friends (most of whom have stopped listening I'm sure) that are currently on rotation for me. I also add unsolicited commentary, for which I apologize in advance.
Some tracks are new. Some old. Some not something you'd normally listen to. Just go with it. It's fine.
